Breda, The Netherlands - Oblomov Art, a webshop specialising mainly in vintage items from the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc era, and Kingsman Design, a webshop and pop-up store for vintage furniture, lighting, tableware, and more, have announced a collaboration. A collection of vintage posters will be on display at the Kingsman Design "VINTAGE POP-UP STORE BREDA".
Wow-factor in any interior
Kingsman Design is known for bringing “the missing centerpieces to your doorstep,” including outstanding pendants and desk lamps, wooden furniture, and wow-factor interior accessories from the 1950s to the present. Their vintage pop-up store, which opened in March, offers a range of furniture and accessories that have not yet been available online.
“We are very excited to collaborate with Oblomov Art and showcase their collection of vintage posters in our pop-up store,” said Niels Verberne from Kingsman Design. "Our store offers a unique selection of mid-century design items, and we believe that the vintage posters complement our aesthetic and add a historical dimension to our collection. Visitors to our store will have the opportunity to browse a wide range of vintage furniture, lighting, tableware, and accessories, as well as the unique vintage posters.”
Cool posters?
The vintage posters include colourful ‘work safety’ posters from a factory in Latvia that will stand out in any modern day interior. There will be some big movie posters and quirky ‘anti-drinking campaign’ posters from Ukraine as well.
“We are thrilled to partner with Kingsman Design to bring these vintage (Soviet-era) posters to a wider audience,” said Bas van der Horst from Oblomov Art. “The posters are not only a beautiful piece of artwork but also offer historical significance and uniqueness that complements the mid-century design items on display at Kingsman Design's pop-up store.”

These items are for sale at the "VINTAGE POP-UP STORE BREDA" at the moment: enamel signs from Bulgaria, unique handmade posters from Riga (Latvian SSR / the Latvian Soviet Republic), a move poster from Yugoslavia and some really cool posters from Paris.
