Ingvar Kamprad tasked Niels Gammelgaard with the design of the JÄRPEN easy chair, which constituted a unique experimentation with materials and construction techniques. The chair was to be able to be produced industrially and offered at a relatively low price point – without the use of any filling or fabric.
Despite its aesthetic, the JÄRPEN lounge chair offers exceptional comfort.
