The Safari Hunter Armchair is a lounge chair with a striking design that features a leather seat and back suspended from a wooden frame. The frame is made of solid oak and has a sculptural, angular design that gives the chair a strong visual appeal. 

The chair was designed by Norwegian furniture designer Torbjørn Afdal in 1959 for Bruksbo Norway. Afdal was a prominent designer in the 1950s to 1980s and is known for his modernist and functional designs.

The dimensions of the Torbjørn Afdal Safari Hunter Armchair are W. 64 cm; D. 82 cm; H.78 cm; SH. 42 cm.

This 50-60 year old chair is still in good shape! Photos were taken outdoors in August in natural lighting, without any colour correction. Colour of the leather on the seating differs a little from the colour of the leather on the backrest because of its age. The leather displays wear, but keep in mind, this is a loved 'old chair'. Unrestored vintage condition: only leather cream has been used and some wax on the oak wood frame.
