Oblomov Art is an idea. A story. A collection. We love vintage items, curiosities and antiques. It is an experience. Traveling. Searching for hidden gems in remote villages, to make people all over the world happy. To connect. To share the stories of the people we buy the items from. Ordinary items which have been used in the past tell a story, they resemble a feeling. Joy, sadness, historic events, ideas, thoughts about bright futures. We like to share these stories with you.
Now, switching lanes a bit: we like vintage mid century modern furniture and decorative items as well.

MEET THE TEAM
The Oblomov Art team from left to right:
BAS from The Netherlands, with a passion for typography, maps and urban exploring, especially in ex-Soviet countries. Enjoys being in a train for 33 hours.
One of his many favorites from the inventory is this map of the GDR (German Democratic Republic) which we came across in Kyiv.
ALINA from Spain, with a special interest in sculptures and wall ornaments from forgotten times. If we could take mosaics with us, Alina would! Always in search for tea, with lemon.
Not a mosaic but one of her favorite pieces is the sculpture of a female shock worker from the 1950s or 60s.
OKSANA from Ukraine, she loves old music records and is always on the look-out for nice vintage items to add to the Oblomov Art inventory. Never nervous of heavy traffic, goes with the flow.
Amongst other findings, she was extremely happy when we found this vintage cigarette holder!
