Vintage bar stools designed by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohé Noordwolde and produced in the Netherlands circa 1970. These high stools feature a tubular steel frame with a chrome finish and a seat made of woven cane (pitriet). The combination of industrial steel and natural rattan gives the design a light and timeless appearance, characteristic of Dutch modern furniture from this period.

Dimensions: H 86 cm x W 42 cm x D 43 cm. Seat height 66 cm.

Dirk van Sliedrecht was a Dutch designer best known for his rattan and cane furniture designs. Working closely with Rohé Noordwolde, he played an important role in the post-war development of modern Dutch furniture, combining functional steel structures with traditional weaving techniques. His work is appreciated for its durability, comfort and understated elegance.

Condition: the bar stools show light signs of use consistent with their age, with minor wear to the frame and seat. The cane is intact and free of cracks. Overall in very good vintage condition. Ideal for use at a bar, kitchen island or high table, and equally suitable as collectible examples of Dutch vintage design. Please refer to the photographs.
