About the movie

Based on the story by Emmanuil Kazakevich "In the light of day". Olga Petrovna remembered her husband as timid, indecisive, unadapted to life. But the soldier Sleptsov, who arrived in Moscow after the war, surprised her with stories about his dead commander Nechaev, about his heroism and desperate courage. And Nechaev's wife suddenly realized that for many years of living together she had never recognized her husband ...
