Tantal was a brand of model cars and motorcycles from the former Soviet Union. These models have been sold under different names. A common way to refer to them is to call them Saratov models, after the Saratov Oblast in which they were built. The exporters were Novoexport and later on Zapchastexport.
The great success of the Saratov models came to an end with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Agat, along with Litan, succeeded in producing model cars in the mid-1990s.
