About this piece of art

Patinated adjustable piano stool presumably by Thonet. Bentwood legs with wooden vertical standard and a plywood seat top. Seat spins to adjust height (comfortable height in upper position is 58 cm and lowest position is 43 cm). This gem is originally designed as a piano stool. But it can be used as a little table, plant stand or seat as well.

Our workshops verdict:
Wood: there are traces of use and some minor age related wear to wood in places, which is not troublesome. This fantastic piece of art is around a hundred years old if not older.
Metal parts: there are traces of repairs on the welding (underneath the seat, not directly visible).
What did we do: only a little bit of wax to get the wood shinny for the pictures.

Please look at all the pictures before ordering this item. Do you want more information and or more pictures? Please get in touch.

We presume this piano stool is designed or inspired by Thonet as there are cues that resemble Thonet chairs and stools from the same period, only: this piano stool is not signed.
