Modernist oak side table from the 1920/1930s, showing the hallmarks of De Stijl / Dutch Art Deco (The Hague School, Haagse School). The perpendicular leg arrangement and clean geometric lines are typical of Dutch modernism of this period.

Dimensions: W: 35 x L: 35 x H: 56 cm

Condition: this vintage / antique item has some wear such as scratches and other signs of ageing. The wear is consistent with age and use. Please refer to the photographs.

Made of oak and plywood this side table is sturdy well-balanced. Photographed in natural light to provide an accurate sense of colour and condition.

Based on its construction and proportions, this piece could be designed by, or in the manner of, makers associated with the Hague School, such as Oosterbeek or Izeren.
