Provincial maps: the bright red built-up areas for towns with more than 20,000 inhabitants have now been replaced by a less conspicuous hue. Kwast reports that he used as a source for the spelling of the geographical names the list by Ph.G. Rapp published in 1927, the Naamlijst van gemeenten, bewoonde oorden en huizengroepen in Nederland (Topografische Inrichting: 's-Gravenhage, 1927).
